I learned to make this rice kheer recipe from mother for any celebrating day like eid my mother always makes rice kheer.
This delicious rice kheer can be made for any celebrating day like eid etc or also as a sweet dessert which you can serve after meals so let's make,

Ingredients and spices that need to be Take to make Kheer:

  1. 1/2 Cup Basmati Rice
  2. 2 kg Milk
  3. 1/2 Cup Water
  4. 1 Cup Sugar
  5. 4-5 White Cardamom
  6. 2-3 Tbsp Pistachio Sliced
  7. 2-3 Tbsp Almonds Sliced

Steps to make to make Kheer

  1. Wash and rinse the rice and then soak for 30 minutes,
  2. Remove the cardamom seeds from the cardamom pods,
    And lightly crushed in a mortar and pestle,
  3. Then heat the milk in a stainless steel deep saucepan and let it come to a gentle simmer.
    Then add crushed cardamom seeds in milk,
  4. Then add the rice and sugar. The rice will be clumpy but as it cooks, it will break down,
  5. Now on very low heat, cook the Kheer for 2 hours.
    After 2 hours of slow cooking, the Kheer will have thickened.,
  6. Garnish with crushed nuts. The skin that forms on the surface is the BEST part!
    Let Kheer cool in serving dish for 15-20 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve in serving bowl finally ready to eat ❤️
